SAILING s/y FREEDOM

We started our trip from Påskallavik at the 11th of July. But the trip started actually much earlier when I was working in Canada. It was then I got this trip in my mind.
I waned to see Kiel and Germany before the big trip 2008. So I asked around after shipmates that are looking for a little special adventure. Almost direct I got some happy responses and as closer I got to sail away- I had my crew.

After Utklippan we steered closer to mainland and when nightfall got closer we had to look for a nature harbour or so. We find a exceptional harbour called Tjärö! Nice environment, it was an old farm island. Small, but very cozy! The day after, we begun early with breakfast. Then steering to Karlskrona.

After a few tuff days, we finally arrived in Karlshamn. There a new crew showed up, so Kenneth and Björne took there’s car. They droved back to Påskallavik after a quite windy/wet days. Strangely, but when they left, the sun started to show it self and that was actually the beginning of a very sunny week.
